Very good Luftwaffe Glashutte Tutima chronograph from WW2
Serial number is 207393 which places the watch to late 1942.
Dial is marked with 'Tutima' name and logo and is in good condition. The hands have the original lume which has dis-coloured in places with age.
Wristwatch is manufactured by 'UFAG' (Uhrenfabrik AG),
Case is in heavy nickel-silver plate over brass. Rotating 'multi-tooth' stamped bezel ring with position at 12 'O' clock that would originally have been painted red.
Matt black dial has constant seconds subsidary dial along with elapsed 30 minute dial.
Watch case has screw on back plate with seal for water resistance.
Outside of the stainless steel rear case cover has the engraved watch/movement number 207293.
Inside of the rear case cover has the machine stamped wording 'WASSERGESCHUTZT' (water resistant) & BODEN EDELSTAHL (cover stainless steel) along with manufacturers name and location 'UHRENFABRIK AG. GLASHUTTE (Sa)'
The watch has a 15 Ligne Calibre 59 chronograph movement with 21 jewels, mono-metallic screw balance and self compensating Breguet hairspring. The movement has the matching number to the case number.
The watch movement has been lubricated and tested and is running very well. The chronograph mechanism is working correctly.
No strap currently fitted but a suitable strap can be supplied and fitted at no additional cost.
This is an excellent example in very good condition and a great opportunity to purchase a piece of real history from WW2.
